HMS Belfast
Morgan's Lane, Tooley Street, SE1 2JHHMS Belfast, a 10,550-ton Edinburgh class light cruiser, was built at Belfast, Northern Ireland, and completed in August 1939.
HMS Belfast was one of the most active ships in the Royal Navy during WWII. She participated in a number of significant battles including the chase and ultimate sinking of the German Battleship Scharnhorst.
The ship is currently preserved and can be seen on the Thames River across from the Tower of London.
