Trefriw Woollen Mills, run by the same family for over 140 years, was built alongside the river Crafnant to exploit it's fast flowing soft water for washing the wool and turning the water wheels.

Visit the mill shop and view the extensive range of home manufactured goods which is complimented by wool and natural fibres knitwear and accessories, pure new wool blankets, sheepskin rugs, gloves, hats and slippers, outdoor clothing, leisurewear, gift shop and adjoining tearoom.

Trefriw, a spa village which contains several fine hostelries, guest houses and cafes, is set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and is surrounded by wonderful walking country.
