The Museum, housed in the town's old Butchers Shambles and Brass Foundry, provides a fascinating insight into the growth and trades of Bewdley and lives of its people. Displays feature the work of basket and besom makers, charcoal burners, pewterers and brass founders - illustrated richly with artefacts and archive photographs.

Resident crafts people at present include a woodcarver, stained glass maker and felt maker.

The museum offers a unique and immense education resource for schools with learning opportunities in a wide range of curricular studies.
There is a research library open to anyone interested in finding out more about the history and families of the Wyre Forest area.
