Old Moor Wetland Centre
Old Moor Lane off Manvers Way, Barnsley, S73 0YF250 acre nature reserve with a variety of wetland habitats, excellent bird species range which can be viewed through five superb hides. Large visitor centre in converted farm buildings which houses shop and toilets. Other features include play area, bird feeding garden and wildlife walks.
Location
From M1: Leave M1 at junction 36 and take the A61 North (Barnsley), at the small roundabout continue straight ahead on the newly opened A6195 (Doncaster) for approximately 4 miles. After passing the Morrison's superstore follow the brown Old Moor signs.
