Dyrham Park

Dyrham House was built in 1691-1702 by William Blathwayt, William 111Æs Secretary of War. It is set in 274 acres of garden and parkland. Much of its originalfurnishing remains in the great rooms, including fine paintings and textiles. It became a showcase of Dutch decorative artswhich were fashionable at the time.
