Operated by the Montrose Aerodrome Museum Society and Montrose Air Station Museum Trust, the museum here depicts the story of the historic Scottish aerodrome, which first opened in 1913. Housed in the former RAF Montrose station headquarters building are displays and exhibits recalling the activities of the RFC and RAF at the base. The aircraft are displayed outside near a wartime 'pillbox'. There is also a growing collection of well looked after military vehicles here, including a Landrover and a Green Goddess fire engine.

Location

On Waldron Road, off the A92 at the northern end of Montrose, Angus.
