Household Cavalry Museum
Combermere Barracks St Leonards Road, Windsor, SL4 3DNThe Household Cavalry Museum collection relates to The Life Guards (1st and 2nd), Horse Grenadier Guards, Royal Horse Guards (Blues), 1st Royal Dragoons (Royals) and The Blues and Royals, covering over three hundred years of the history of the Sovereign's mounted bodyguard.
The collection contains Uniforms, Weapons, Standards, Guidons, Drum Banners, Horse Furniture, Campaign and Gallantry Medals, Regimental Medals from the 17th Century. Silver, including Silver Kettledrums presented to the 2nd Life Guards by William IV, hallmarked and dated 1831, and many other personal gifts from the Monarchy such as Oil Paintings, Water Colours, Prints and many other curios of the Regiments.

Location
From M3: Leave M3 at junction 3, Follow signs for Bracknell on dual carriageway (A322). Take the right hand lane after going under bridge, follow the road around to the right. Take the first exit left from the roundabout (after lights). Follow the A332 past the Berkshire Golf Club, go past Ascot Racecourse, over two mini-roundabouts and then on past the Crispin Public House. Take the right hand lane around and into the Great Park (A332). First exit at large roundabout. Follow the road around to the left and past the Hospital. The Household Cavalry Museum (inside Combermere Barracks) is 200m on the right hand side of St. Leonard's Road.
From M4: Leave the M4 at Junction 6 and follow signs at the end of roundabout for Windsor along the A355. Follow the dual carriageway to the end, at the roundabout take second exit (A308) signposted to Staines, at the next roundabout take second exit. Take the right hand lane - one way system, follow the road throught the pedestrian crossing and around to the right, at next junction signposted to Bracknell take the left hand lane and then follow road around to the left past the Hospital signposted to Bracknell. The Household Cavalry Museum (inside Combermere Barracks) is 200m on the right hand side of St. Leonard's Road.
