This classic 14th-century black and white timber-framed manor house - generally considered to be one of the finest of its kind in the country - is situated in 64 acres of beautiful wooded parkland. An extremely popular local attraction, its fascinating history can be best appreciated on a tour of the house which are held regularly during the summer months - and can be arranged at other times on request. The hall also acts as a venue for all kinds of events including open-air theatre, jazz and chamber-music concerts as well as being licensed for weddings.
