Carwinion, an 18th Century manor house in Mawnan-Smith, Nr Falmouth, Cornwall. Set in 12 acres of natural Victorian gardens overlooking the Helford River Estuary. Carwinion is renowned for its traditional Bed and Breakfast and Cornish fare. Enthusiasts flock from all over the world to take advantage of its unique collection of Bamboo. Others visit Carwinion to relax and walk through the tranquil gardens to view the many species of ferns and camellias, to enjoy the Cornish air and round off with a Cream Tea on the terrace.

Location

Carwinion House is situated on the outskirts of Mawnan Smith, a small village with a thatched pub, The Red Lion, which sits in the centre of the road. Carwinion House is 200 yards up, on the road to the left-hand side of The Red Lion. The road on right-hand side of The Red Lion, is to the Helford River.
